"I’m Kimber Smith, CANDLE ARTIST, & owner of The Outer Banks Candle Company in Kitty Hawk, NC. I am a mother of 5, married to a pastor & I have a degree in ART. I started this candle business in 2008 with 3 very young children (4, 2 & a newborn that was crazy!) It all began with a passion to create unique & beautiful candles.
I am inspired by the beauty & peacefulness of the coast, the colors, the ocean’s treasures & the changing seasons believing that the right candle can evoke the same peace & simplicity that inspired it. The Outer Banks Candle Company is very much a FAMILY business. My children have grown up around the candle studio, helping & learning the craft!"
