Robert Daniels Fine Art

Robert Daniels is a native of Roanoke Island. He is best known for his realistic oil paintings of wildlife and sea scapes. Quite often he likes to branch out and do  landscapes, still life, and whatever else that might present a challenge. He began drawing at an early age, and fell in love with art when he first picked up a pencil 

around nine years of age. In his twenties he moved to California and studied art at Orange Coast College. He says he is  about 99% self taught and, after many years, he is still working to master his craft.

In 2011 he moved back to North Carolina and started painting full time. Over the years he has worked with many types of media including oil, carvings, ink, acrylics and graphic pencils.

He now paints full-time and lives in Manteo.
